Thanks for stopping by and taking a read. You may be wondering "what is all of this?". Well, I proudly introduce to you my fiscal newsletter - October 2007!
I will be writing a bi-monthly newsletter, keeping everyone notified with recent happenings, favorite photos and what is up and coming!
So, thanks for taking some time to read the newsletter.
Quick Introduction
My name is Bryan Caporicci, I am a 20 year old Brock University Student, in the 3rd year of my BBA, Marketing degree. I own and run my own photography business, Memories in Motion, specializing in Wedding, Portrait, and Sports Photography in the Niagara Region.
Recent Happenings
Model Shoots
I have been out doing lots of portfolio work for models in and around the Niagara Region over the last few months. I've had the pleasure of collaborating with a whole bunch of great models and would like to thank everyone I've shot with, it's been a blast.
Models I've shot with over the last few months: Melody, Melanie, Yuri, Adam, Shannon, Dina, Beth, Jen, Alex, Emma, Jill, Christa and Natalia. Of course, I cannot forget the random, fun, portrait shoots I've done with Al, Lyd, Sadie, Stef, Chris and Jeff. Most model shoots have been uploaded to my blog, so be sure to check them out!

Sohail Mall Advertising Campaign
I had the pleasure of being part of Sohail Mall's advertising campaign for the Brock University Board of Trustees elections. Sohail is a good friend of mine, and we had a great time going out and around Brock and taking some photos for his campaign. I used these photos and designed some kick-butt posters for him to hang around the school. I'd like to congratulate Sohail for coming out on top and getting his spot on the Board of Trustees. Best of luck buddy!
Weddings
I've been doing a lot of shooting with Jeff Toogood, a photographer in London, Ontario and have had a BLAST doing so. For more information on my wedding photography services, please visit www.mimphoto.com.

Slideshows
I have been playing around with a wide variety of slideshow and presentation tools for my photos on the web. After much testing and experimenting, I have settled with the great slideshow program, Showit Web. It's such a fantastic application! I'll be creating a slideshow with 50-100 images and music for every wedding in 2008 and will be including it with the couple's photo gallery. Here is a sample that I created for Karen and Pat's engagement session.
Band Shoots
I had the pleasure of photographing "A Journey to Aspen", live, at L3 this month. I had a great time, and got some great photos that the guys were stoked with!

Album Samples
I am pleased to be offering the incredible GraphiStudio "Wedding Book" albums to my Wedding clients in 2007/08. The Wedding Book is not your traditional, slip-in photo album. This timeless story book is a premium album, hand crafted in Venice, Italy and is exclusive to the world's best photographers. Each album is individually created with care and diligence. The photos are printed directly onto thick paper stock and stitch-bound into an elegant masterpiece. Words cannot describe the exquisite look, style and feel of these albums - it is something that needs to be seen and held. Below are some sample photos.
Family Portrait Days
We have now had 2 extremely successful family photo days with the NIFEE organization in Niagara Falls. We scheduled 2 Sundays for portraits and booked NIFEE families in 30 minute intervals on whichever day worked best for the family. Every 30 minutes, I shot a new family, handed the camera's card over to an assistant, and they went through the images with the family right then and there! It's instant gratification! The family could then order any extra prints they wished to have, and photos were delivered no more than a week later. Online photo galleries were also made available for families to view the photos afterwards, and send to friends and relatives who may not get to see the prints. I am hoping to schedule a family photo day for the winter season, in the snow! So look out for more information soon!
Reaching Out
I don't like to call it advertising, because then it sounds like the sole purpose of it is to gain more business, which, in my case, isn't true. I prefer to call it "Reaching Out". I have ventured into and "reached out" into several new areas of the internet with my photography and am excited to be sharing information, photos, advice and news with a wider range of individuals.
I've created a Facebook account, "Bryan Caporicci Photography" in which I upload my favorite photos from each photo session. Due to the increasing popularity of facebook, most clients already have a facebook account, so I can keep up to date with them, and they get to see their photos almost immediately after the photo shoot! Instant gratification provides a great emotional response! I am also able to chat with potential clients via Facebook, and they can really get to know me before they make any decisions. It's a great tool!
Upcoming
2007/08 Basketball League Photos
Red Raiders Basketball, Port Colborne Youth Basketball and Welland Basketball league photo shoots have begun for the 2007/08 season. I'm very excited to be photographing basketball again, and am looking forward to working with all coaches, players and parents for the upcoming season. Tournaments are also piling up and we're getting booked up for event coverage for weekend events. It's going to be a great season!
Day in the Life Campaign
I am launching a "Day in the LIfe" campaign (more info to come soon) for the Winter season.
Weddings
As winter hits, the 2007 wedding season is almost at an end. Bookings are now coming in for 2008/09, and I am looking forward to working with all couples.
Family Portraits in the Snow
I am launching a similar "Family Portrait Day" that was so well-received in the Fall, for the winter season. I am thinking that we will set up at a nice park, in the snow, and get some fun, unique family portraits. I've got some great ideas and concepts for this winter-themed family portrait day.
