Melissa + Matt: It's Devotion (Slideshow)!

I just finished up Melissa and Matt's wedding slideshow! It looks awesome, and the fact that it is set to their wedding song makes it even more special!

The most magical moment ...

Throughout the wedding day, there are so many incredible moments to experience. This day marks the beginning of a couple's lives together and they're surrounded by nothing but love.

For me, as a wedding photographer, it is a privilege to be invited into my couple's lives for the day and share all these wonderful moments with them.

I have to say, however, that there is one very specific moment throughout the day that stands out as nothing but magical.

The guests are all seated, spun around 180 degrees, waiting anxiously. The groomsmen are standing at the front, wiping the sweat off their brows. The groom stands with them, nervous, but excited, fiddling with his thumbs. He waits for the music. He knows what comes next.

That moment when the bride makes her grand entrance is just phenomenal. It all happens so quickly, but the look in the groom's eyes when he sees his soon-to-be-wife for the first time is simply magical.

It's that moment, those few split seconds, that I just LOVE to capture. The bride will walk down the aisle for 10 seconds, but the groom sees her for the first time for only a fraction of a second. It's amazing.

Something ...

I've been super busy lately, working on a few really big changes in my business, and in my life.

I'm not just talking about a new website, or a new logo.

I'm talking about something bigger ... something amazing!

Something that has changed the way I do business.

Something that has changed the way that I work with my couples.

Something that is so unbelievably cool and wickedly awesome, that you'll have to wait a few more weeks to find out!

But, for now ...

Shawn + Kristen: It's Love!

I hung out with Shawn and Kristen this evening for their "It's Love" session. We had a fantastic time, and got some really wicked photos!

I can't wait for Shawn and Kristen's "winter wonderland" wedding this November!

The sunset and clouds were absolutely beautiful! Perfect even! We were lucky to grab a couple of these beautiful silhouette photos before the sun hid behind the clouds.


While we were waiting for the sun to come back out, we did some star-fish jumps.


... unfortunately, the sun didn't come out of hiding. So we entertained ourselves elsewhere.
